Yuko hair straightening for REALLY curly hair?!

I have read alot about the great effects of the Yuko hair straightening system, but what happens if you have really curly hair when it grows out???????
Does it look really wierd?! Can anybody tell me? All of the reviews that i've read just speak about how great it is straight after they've had it done not a few months later.
