I heard the xtrema 2 was like that.I saw the youtube video of it. Illegal over here Crying or Very sad
All gas operated guns will take abit of the recoil out though.
Lets hope my beretta has low recoil like that one Laughing

I just like the shotgun better.

Not saying i dont like the rifle i just like to be able to take moving and flying game and also you dont have to be as precise (good for me Laughing ) but the down side is you have to be within 50 meters.

I like the 22lr for plinking and informal target shooting and occasional hunting but shotgun for hunting. It alos depends on where im hunting if its a small property it will either be the AR of the 22 with winchester long z

I know what you mean with the preferances changing.

For a while I was loving the shotgun shooting and was using it every week. Now its rifle all the time, But its getting annoying with my Ruger still being innaccurate with most ammunitions I try.. My post on getting a new scope will most likely be to go on my Ruger, then if that still doesnt work then I'll be looking to change it for a bolt action.

With the groups you mentioned i honestly don't think its your scope its the shooter JOKES! lol But what your saying i think its the rifle its self. Maybe its something to do with the barrel? Maybe you should get it professionally cleaned(not saying your not doing it right but maybe your not getting everything out) Or maybe its the crowning?

Whatever it is, its between the round leaving the magazine to leaving the barrel.. I'm shooting down a shooting range with no obstructions on calm days.

The barrel is a possibility, maybe its nakkered, or prehaps the rounds are being damaged when they are being slammed from the magazine into the chamber..

Is it possible to feed rounds directly into the chamber with out the mag. That will tell you if thats the problem.

My marlin usually shaves of some round nose lead bullets when it enters the chamber, but not when there hollow points or copper coated.

Thats a nice idea. Problem is, its not exactly easy to insert rounds 1 at a time with a ruger.. I will do it anyway, 5 rounds isnt too taxing.

I'll get the best quality ammunition I can, 5 rounds normal, 5 rounds inserted manually. then repeated without the silencer attatched. All bench rested. All at 50 yards.. Then mearsure and see.
