Just competed in the 6 county shoot. Wow, what an experiance. almost 30 shooters at a time concentrating. I swear it got 3 degrees warmer from all the brain power Laughing

Very competative, One bloke got 3 100's and a 98 at 50 and 100yards. Nice!! My highest score was 97 at 100yards, not too bad, but I'm still very much learning the sport.

To be honest, I'm not sure where I came overall. Not particularly high, but hey It was my first BIG competition.

    My load out is an

Anshcutz 1411 .22LR With standard Anschutz sights & handstop.

HPS Leather sling and Fingerless gloves.

    Eley Match ammunition 1052 fps.

    Hawke 28-72X60 spotting scope.

    Nokia phone stopwatch timer Laughing

Not a very high tech setup compared to the other guys there. I think I held my own, got the highest for the two juniors there.

Last friday i shot with a group of 4 other guys and when i asked them if i could shoot with them they just looked at my like i was nothing. You should of seen the look on there faces after i beat them all. None of them said anything to me after the round Laughing Laughing

Its a whole different story with real shotguns theres no way you will be able to keep the gun under control and shoot it 4 times at one target as the recoil will put you off.

Thats dosn't worry me though i only have two shots!

    Depends on the gun really.

The Berretta Xtrema2 is superb. The recoil is almost non existant. I fired a 6 shot version and got off all 6 at one clay target as fast as I could. Missed all appart from last shot but it was fun Laughing
