I have a barn in my backyard and inside I found two stray cats. I give them food, water, and blankets, hoping that will make them think I am more approachable. But, everytime I go over there they always run away and never let me get near them. I want to help them and give them a home but, they always run away and seem unapproachable! I look for them everyday and I really want to help them!
If anybody has any ideas or suggestions for me, please write back!
    Thank you:]

It is very difficult to gain the trust of feral cats, it will take quite a long time for this to happen.

I took in a 16year old mistreated cat about a year ago & that took well over 6 months before was what I would call friendly toward all the family & my other cats. All you can do is carry on giving them food & water for a month or 2 & hang around while the food is there as long as you can, so that they do not see you as a danger to them, then gradually move the food closer to you. Introduce some catnip treats when they start to trust you a bit by not running away.

Keep us informed of how you get on.
