As the title of this thread says, we had to take care of three baby squirrels this past weekend. My brother found them in his rain gutters. He would have left them there but the roofers were coming in a few days to redo the roof. We left them out for the mother to retrieve them but once the sun started to set we knew that it was too late for that.

Luckily a squirrel "rehabber" came over on Sunday to pick them up. We re-hydrated them with pedialyte and then later fed them Esbilac puppy milk.

She said that they seemed healthy and had a very good chance of survival. Smile

Here are my pictures and story from the experience - http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Orphan-Baby-Squirrel-Care/index.html

If you found a baby squirrel, check out these authoritative resource sites that I relied on to make sure the infants survived.
