Hi there,
I've recently bought a 1977 Honda CG125 on eBay with the view of taking it around the UK for three months in June (I am a student and this will be my first big bike tour.)
I am told the bike is a runner but will need an MOT, will need a new battery, tires and possible spokes. I got this bike with a spare engine that turns over fine for the price of £325. Have I made a mistake or is this a good deal?
I haven't handed any real money over yet, just a £25 deposit through paypal.
Is this a good deal? If so will it last my trip? And if so, how will I go about changing basic things like battery, spokes etc etc. -

HI you will find the cg125 quite a reliable bike. The wheel's will need to go to a dealer or bike shop because the spokes have to be adjusted adjusted for tension and that the wheels spin true. The battery is easily replaced. Hope you enjoy your trip reguardf, Paul.
