I forgot....I was shooting my .22 co2 pistol 6 shot repeater and as I was "going to town on a hanging tin can" and I missed and hit something and the pellet went wizzing by me after it recocheted.
All heard was "fffffvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv clank"....it hit my open soda can I had set next to me. I kinda flinched a little when it hit my soda. -

Last Thursday, I was shooting at an old piece of wood(an old tabletop)that I was using while shooting my $20 B3 chinese rifle. I was walking away when I decided, "what theheck"
I was only about 5 yds away when I turned and fired the rifle. The pellet ricoched and whizzed by my head so close to my ear, that I thought a mosquito has landed on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I then realized what had hapened.
Low powered pellet rifles are dangerous.
Many of the shots from this rifle at 20 yards often find their way back to my shooting position.
Same with the new Crossman 1377c pistol.
I've never had that problem with the magnum powered air rifles?
Also, the mags DO go Str8 thru the target

I wouldn't go that far. When I owned that Beeman 1092 rifle last year, the few times that I fired it, the pellet ricocheted like crazy and even hit my shed
I WAS NOT pleased with that rifle. I am permanently turned off by the .22 pellet rifle now.
I could SEE the pellet go downrange at 20yds.
Perhaps it had a power plant issue, but it was a NEW rifle and I tried 3 of them.
It claimed to get 800 fps-more like 300fps.
Those .22's ricocheted more than any .177 that I've ever shot.Maybe it subjective?
...that did leave a bad taste in my mouth-the first and last time that I'll own a .22 pellet rifle.....too slow
heck, even with the Daisy .177 claiming to get 1000fps, I know that it does not. But I use the 11.5g pellets and that thing still roars! -

Seeing a .22 pellet fly from a 12 ft.lbs air rifle is normal. I used it to my advantage when I had my S200. I could see where my pellets were flying, so if I missed something at long range I could adjust by seeing where the pellet flew. I could also tell much better where I had hit a rabbit as soon as the pellet struck because I could see it fly to its target. Now I don't see anything, but the rifle is just as effective.
