yeah so i was having some trouble with my grip safety (due to wear and tear i.e knocks and drops) so i took it apart and fixed it and put it back together and it worked fine, then a few months later the grip safety itself just snapped off with a god awful shearing noise, anyway point is i can fit a new one but i cant seem to get one anywhere! any suggestions?

I just bought a 1911 so no problems, yet and hope they won't follow. But...the only thing I know to do is contact Umarex. Here there is a Umarex USA I would suppose you can contact the "home office" so to speak. They would either send the part or dirrect you to a repair point I'd hope. I found Umarex USA on line. You can probably get their European contact address the same way.

By the way, I haven't had any trouble with the grip. But if you've noticed what I've said elsewhere, I am a littlr disappointed with the pistol's power. That could just be me though.
