Which one should I Buy?

Hey all, would love some advice from people. I'm buying a new car (I've currently got a Vauxhall Corsa) in the Summer and am torn between THREE cars.

1) Vauxhall Astra VXR
2) Audi A3
3) Volkswagen Golf

I can't decide. I'm not that well 'tuned up' on cars so would be most grateful if people can tell me the pros and cons of them all. I did, though, hear from a mate who said that there's alot of problems with the seats in the Golf..anyway please help lads..and ladettes.

VW Golf, and get the best one you can. I am now on my 5th Golf, a Mk5 2.0 GT TDi 04 reg, and would not swap it's combination of class, comfort, reliability, build quality, economy, and performance for any other car either in it's range of a range up.

I can regularly average 50 mph and 50 mpg at the same time across country.

I can even average 28 mpg towing my 1200 kg caravan.

Go for the Volkswagen. I have heard from a friend that it is very reliable and stable on the road
