The first time I've booked a private villa and I must say how pleased I was with this type of holiday.
The holiday was booked using ownersdirect.com were I found the villa a two bedroom with en-suit and beautiful sunny terrace overlooking the Golf Del Sur Golf course the villa had everything including english speaking tv and was furnished to a very high standard. The San Andres resort is on the Golf Del Sur, Tenerife it is a busy resort and seemed to be more for the middle aged and that suited me the mix of the place was half of the resort is time share and the other is privately owned villas and apartments that are managed by www.sanandrestenerife.co.uk . The center of san andres is a lagoon type swimming pool with a bar restaurant in the center. A english super market but it is dear and worth avoiding if you have a car the hyperdina up the road is the place to go. There are Tennis courts and gym and a games room for the kids, internet access is available from consoles but thanks to the girl in the san andres property service office who gave me the password to use their WIFI . This is one of the most relaxing breaks we have had in a long time.
I would recommend if you hire a car that you pre book a parking space this will cost you 15€ per week but if you don't the nearest spot to park is at the golf club about 900m away.
