Back to the subject of shotguns. Went shooting today at a clay shooting club with a few mates.
Got there and what do they each pull out, A Berretta Xtrema2 and a Browning Cynergy (both synthetic) and if you know anything about shotguns, you know that those are two gems!
Well there is me and my mate, Lincoln and Browning in hand.. Hmm They must be good! Hah. We got double their scores
But good god when I had a go with their guns. OOh they were nice! The Xtrema has almost unoticable recoil, and the Cynergy was just so superbly pointable and the recoil was tame aswell! A reallly good day. About 80 something clays for £21 each! We went through well over 350 clays between the four of us in a couple hours. -

Sounds good!
Did you shoot trap?
If so what do you get out of 25? My PB is 21 or 22 can't remember. -

We shot something like 85 clays, got 46 which isnt too good to be honest. But the stands were very difficult, Not just going away from you. The hardest was probably the left and a right, then a rabbit clay. -

That sounds like to me you shot whats called "5 stand" Very hard to shoot. I am yet to try it. But it seems like great fun!
Did you happen to get a clay one that practically goes straight up? If so them im about 100% sure its 5 stand. -

There were about 20 stands. We did 8 of them. There was one where the clays were practically straight up. Slight bend away to stop them landing on you
There was one from a big tower that went right over the top of you aswell. The rabbit clay ones were great because the clay was at bolting rabbit speed. You got so little time to mount and fire. -

i done lazer clay befor but its not the same i guess, the good thing is its safe to do things like have you back to the clay and then spin round and shoot it or have the gun on the flor to start with -

Provided you do it in a safe and well organised way, theres no reason not to spin round and shoot the clay. Have done it before, -
