Canon vs Fuji vs Sony vs Lumix

I've narrowed down the search to the following:

Canon Powershot S5 IS
Like: image stabilisation, red eye,
Dislike: Wide angle only reaches 36mm

Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd
Like: intelligent flash, face detection, auto red-eye, extra wide angle 27mm focal length

Fujifilm Finepix S9600
Like: Zoom ring on lens, Largest CCD sensor
Dislike: Smaller LCD, no optical image stabilisation

Sony DSC-H7
Like: Fast shutter response time

Panasonic Lumix FZ8EB-K
Dislike: Joystick control for manual settings
Like: Leica lens


Ok so thats the paper comparison - well as far as I can tell. I've not found a review that really sets one apart from the rest so how do you rate them in practice and which would you go for and why?
