With the reviews on the night stalker...I don't blame you.....how about your 1077...ever get that one running better? Oh well, I really would like to give a 622 a go........I'll let you know how the auction turns out.........too bad we all live so far apart........would be fun going shootin togather.

I couldn't find any daisy 622 anywheres else or a descent crosman 600 under 125.00 dollars. So I did get the daisy 622 for $75.00. It was the top bid between me and another person...I believe I got it in first so I got it. That was my budget. I really want a .22 caliber....and they are hard to find in a multishot pistol with any power

The daisy 953 is shooting very well,l but very pellet picky. It loves gamo rockets, raptors and crosman premier super match pellets.

The daisy 22sg likes the H & N Baracuda match heavies aka beeman kodiaks I think. I tried both, but for some reason the H & N were better even when they claim they are the same pellets. As for power the 22sg is awsome. AS for the phone book test, my springer tore up 200-220 pages the 622 tears upto 180 pages. The springer won't gain much with heavier pellets, but the 22gs seems to hit pretty hard with em.

Nice thing about the daisy 22sg is that it pumps easier than my crossman and hits like a sledge hammer. Oh and the grouping are more consistant and a little tighter than the springer. They claim 625 fps...but some day I will have to find someone with a chrono and check out all my air guns. The phone book only works when comparing same calibers and using same pellets otherwise I use it to see if there is any changes in my airguns performances.

I've been shooting up a lot of targets up lately......and having a lot of fun!!!!!!

I still use my 1022 for plinking. you know putting a line of cheap poker chips up and shooting the repeater. It's fun, I still think it should hit a little harder, but then I'm not using it for hunting and I can center a chip at 20 or 25 yards so it does the job. I just noted that a lot of people on the review side seemed to feel they were getting more power from theirs than I was.

By the way glad you like the .22. I belive that even though it's out of production you can still get mags and such.

yeah, love the .22....shot about 200-300 pellets through the daisy multi pump 22SG air rifle. Still using H & N Baracuda Match Extra Heavy.....nailing 2 to 4mm 3mm c-t-c round groupings at 10 meters. A few I couldn't even measure...just one hole period. Probably going to be my new rabbit gun. Don't believe .177 is any more accurate.....just more straighter and perhaps a benefit for FT....but not essential for plugging bunnies.

oops it was the 22sg rifle that tore through 180 pages.....will be about a week before the 622 comes. The 22sg is the 22x with a scope....says it can do about 625 on the package....but only 600 where I bought it.

Hey Paladin, I have a question for your. On the bottom of the Dasiy 622 pistol grip there is a indentation and a square hole. Is there a cap or cover I am missing? Also, I shaved the bottom of the CO2 grip cover to remove the tab so it looks like the other side. I Just like the way it looks without that tab sticking down. Other than that it looks nearly new and handles and shoot really well. Sometimes I like to pull the hammer back and shoot single action because you can feel the trigger hit before it breaks. Been going through pellets like mad.

This pistol is awsome....I can get about 48 good powered shots - 12 ok shots and 6 low powered lobbers. So about 66 shots for plinking. It's pretty accurate only shoots a hair to the right, although it could be just pulling it.

Sorry i didn't answer about the 1077. I re-sighted it with a new scope and use it for "repeater-plinking". You know, line up a few targets out about 20 or 25 yaeds and shoot one after the other. I still don't seem to have the power some of the users claim for the rifle, but I don't plan to use it for hunting anyway.

I'm thinking about a new rimfire, but in the last year no purchase I've planned has worked out, so I'll wait and see.

Oh, sorry the 622, I'm slipping. No i have the same spot on mine, it's on the 617 also. It's just a 622 with a .177 barral so far as I can tell. Just the way it was made. That's the weakest part of the pistol I suppose. There are a lot of them that have the twist key below thw grip. i wish they'd found a way to hide that. Still, till someone else comes out with a .22 repeater I won't complain.

I've been looking around for other .22 repeating pistols...and I don't see any new ones out there anywhere. Single shots in any powerplant you want....but no repeaters. I've had so many friends over who love shooting the 622 that they wondered if there were anymore for sale. So far zero 622 and a few crosmans out there selling 150 to 350 dollars. Sad The same story everwhere I look: Discontinued and out of stock....

The 622 I have looks new...and I emailed daisy for any liturature on the 622 and and asked if I can order more clips. I only have one clip and I load it outside the gun as not to but any stress on it or the spindle it sits on. I've been shooting up a bunch or crosman premier .22 hollow points 14.3 gr which I bought 2000 for about 20.00 dollar or 1 penny each. Since I've fount the H & N Baracuda to be more accurate...I use the crosmans for plinking.
