i'm ready to buy a decent air rifle at last! it's for pheasant, rabbit etc at 25yrds. i'm thinking .22. single shot ok, multishot would be nice but really i only shoot for the pot. i'm likely to get a decent silencer anyway. any particular reason i should not go with a bog-standard scope?

price-wise i'm divided between the air arms S200 and the BSA ultra.

i'd like the lightness, compactness - my girlfriend can have a go too.

this is a long term purchase - i'd like low maintenance costs and long term reliability.

happy to buy second hand though they don't come up?

any thoughts? does anybody know BOTH rifles?

    many thanks,

    sam Question
