Hi does anyone know if the data on an SDA II is stored on the SD card?

The phone has got wet (duh) and I am suggesting that it be left without the battery installed for a couple of days so as to help it dry out: will it lose all the pda data if that happens?

Also, does anyone know what screws are used to hold the case together? Are they Torx #6 like the Nokias?
I am in UK and the phone is in USA at the moment but I will be seeing the owner in a couple of months and am thinking to open it up then and try to tidy up some of the crud that's in there (yes I know it's a long shot to try to get it back to it's former glory, but you have to try LOL)

You should leave the battery etc out of the phone and let it dry out. This may help, if it doesnt you would need to bring it to a repair centre.

There is a 50/50 chance of fixing the handset however, somethings to fix the handset, it may have to be flashed which can lose all data.

If your looking for new screws, screwdrivers etc, you can purchase them online here - www.phonevolts.ie

Well thanks for the reply, but I do have to say you haven't actually answered the questions.

If I leave the battery out does it lose data?
Is some or all of the data stored on a media card?
What screws are used, T6 Torx?
