80s/90s Sports Car

Hi, as you may be able to tell, I know very little about cars, however, I do have fondness for 80s/90s sports cars, such as the Jaguar XJS. However, the car mentioned is out of my price range, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a sports car of similar style, in the £4000 price range, that is reliable and aesthetically pleasing.
