Wanting a soft top before I am too old (too late perhaps) I have looked around at the ones that will still give me some useful space and 4 seats as I have a wife and 3 year old son, it seems that there are 4 possibles -
Merc CLK ... Audi A4 ... Volvo C70 ... SAAB 9-3
I only have 5 or 6 thousand to spend and am considering the Audi - can anyone out there help through their own experience.
Many, many thanks. -

I was looking to buy a used car and someone told me that I should
get a vehicle check on it before i buy, the car check is by a third
party company. The check data check - looks at the car's history to
see if it has been reported stolen, to see if it has been classed as
a total loss - insurance write-off, mileage clocked, still oweing
finance. The last thing i want to buy is a car that doesnt even
belong to the seller or has been an insurance write off and has had
a dodgy repair.
Anyway - i went on the internet and i found lots of car checking
companies such as: HPI CHECK, AA CAR DATA CHECK, MY CAR CHECK, AUTO
CHECK, RAC CHECK, VEHICHLE CHECK (autotrader) etc...
i chose

This is the best website that i found, when i was having difficulty with all the different car checking companies ou there - such as : mycarcheck, hpi check ,auto check, vehicle check (autotrader)...
these guys give you free sample reports from each car checking company - so you can see what you get for your money
also they tell you which the best one, rate it, and compare them in a matrix.
worth a look - and all this is FREE
