Who knows about a medicament to treat psoriasis? The psoriasis of my cousin is in her scalp and at the moment it scratches in blood, it is very sad.
The dermatologist that she went to yesterday say that it often affect the persons who keep everything for them who do not express their emotions, is it your case?

She wants to color her hair and would like to know if it is possible to do so? I search for some information for her on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psoriasis which says that:
Quote: it is believed to have a genetic component. Several factors are thought to aggravate psoriasis. These include stress, excessive alcohol consumption, and smoking. Individuals with psoriasis may suffer from depression and loss of self-esteem. As such, quality of life is an important factor in evaluating the severity of the disease.
And also on http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3200-s-DOVONEX.aspx where I came to know about a medication called Dovonex:
Quote: Dovonex is a common drug also known under the generic name of Calcipotriene Topical. This medicine is an effective Vitamin D synthetic topical form (this vitamin plays a very important part in the development and in the growth of skin cells). Therefore, this medicine is often used in the treatment of plaque psoriasis (this is a type of psoriasis that causes scaly patches).[/url]

Has anyone of you ever used this medication? Is it effective? Did you have satisfying result with it?
