Need a small version of the Canon 300d. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone.
I sold my Canon 300d SLR camera at the end of last year, and have missed it ever since. I'm due to go on holiday at the beginning of next month, and am tempted to buy another one. However, I'm also tempted to get a smaller camera that has the same features of the 300d, as I don't want to have to lug a 300d around on holiday.
Can anyone suggest a smaller camera that has the same picture oquality of the 300d? Any suggestions would be much appreciated
