    T Mobile have requested to Samsung that all phones play a LOUD and very IRRITATING jingle when SENDING a text. This CANNOT be turned off even in Silent mode.

    Beware

    Possibly on all other brand phones sold with T Mobile Network

    Be warned

    I just returned my Samsung U600 and cancelled my contract

    Thanks for the info - I thought I was missing an option. I agree the T Mobile tone is a pain and my phone is going back unless T mobile has an upgrade to fix this problem

    Mine went back.... got a Nokia N95.... no problems. Hated it at first but after two weeks I have to say its the best phone I've ever had
