I lived in a house with 5 other roomates one time and sombody would go into the kitchen and steal food in the middle of the night. When no one was home I boiled up a squirrel skull so it was squeeky clean. I put it in my box of cereal. A couple of nights later we heard a crash. Never had any food stolen after that.

Get your teacher to make rabbit stew with a freshly shot rabbit, but she has to do all the ucky stuff, like skinning it as well, now that would be a laugh

Some people still think rabbit comes from a butchers shop only

Druid, very hard to roll, and no i don't strap myself in. the hobies have a peddle system that allows you to go hands free. it has a lever for the rudder

yes big fish do tend to drag you along WHEE!!!!

being a SOt (sit on Top) i can stow heaps of stuff inside and plan in the future to go away for several days exploring local rivers and dams

went out on the weekend and did about 20ks worth of travel in 5 hours, going slow trolling for fish but only got a couple of small ones. top speed is just over 9k/h and cruising is 6.5k/h

heres a link that shows how the peddle system works

no more paddle drips for me

whhheeeewwwwww......cup holders....I thought for a second that they would be totally useless to me....lol

cool.....I like the idea of peddling and the vs paddling...seems like a more efficient and smoother way t o move around in the water. Add a sail and you can have a lot of fun. Either way it would save money than using a gas motor and better for the environment.

I bought an old 14 foot fiberglass trihaul boat with an 85HP motor. Two friends of mine and I are in the process of redecking the floor and reappolstering the seats. The motor and electrical system have been rewired and the steering has new hydrolic lines. There was a new lower unit put the motor before I bought it along with a new trailer hitch and tires. We will hopefully get out to do some fishing soon. I have another friend who worked at a trolling motor factory give one of his old trolling motors. It's no flashy bass boat...but for a under 1,000 bucks.....I can afford to put gas in it and it really moves out well. We pulled a couple of water skiers with it....possible 3, but never had a third rope.

in australia they are called stubby holders... Laughing Laughing Laughing

yes it is much more efficient, there is a video on that site that shows a tug of war between a single hobie and a tandam one....hobie wins hands down

also very good for animal watching, due to no big movements of paddles, saw 6 platypussy plus tons of bird life last friday
