Welcome back, and as for kayaking being better than airgunning, have you tried it with a airgun mounted on the boat so that you can shoot things on the river bank

Smile No I hav`nt tried that BUT, Whilst tw@tting down `Mill House Falls` on the Lower Usk once ; I did have a Big Cock Pheasent fall out of the sky!! Surprised (unbeknown to us) there was `a shoot` going on in the fields above,.

Very Happy TIDY!! I thought and immediately `rescued` the victim from a watery grave Cool . `Do you know ?! I even detected `a glimpse of gratitude` from the poor bird as I pulled it out and up onto my deck.
This of course `was relatively short lived` as I then swiftly wrung it`s neck Twisted Evil and bunged it in my boat for a tasty supper... Laughing

It has to be said that my `paddling mates` (most of whom think that `proper food` only comes out of a supermarket Rolling Eyes ) did `raise a few eyebrows` at my enthusiastic and somewhat un-expected course of action. And I even managed to put one right off his sandwiches when I breasted and de-legged it at `bait time`. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Good on you, did any throw up at the sight, I made a mate go white in the face once and get icky, I was preparing a freshly shot rabbit in my kitchen, he thought he was so tough, it was hilarious, and he wouldn't eat any of it afterwards neither
