Wednesday 20th June, Low and Behold Orange suffer a network wide fault starting at 10am ish.

I realised that there was a problem when my handset displayed the message "incorrect SIM". After all of the ongoing problems that I have been experiencing with Orange (separte ongoing official complaint), my initial reaction was that Orange had disconnected my service. The phone was reset and the message displayed a further 11 times over the next two and a half hours. Occasionally I would get the service then when I was calling customer services, the incorrect SIm message would display and the call drop out. Needless to say I was extremely miffed. My girlfriend who is also on Orange tried to call me several times and all she was getting was a number error message.

Eventually when I was able to speak to a customer services agent (after a 35 minute call) the snaotty reply was, "I've got your file on the screen and before you say anything further to me, NO it is not handset related. It's a network fault so get off the line" at which she cut me off without saying thank you or goodbye. What a cheek!!!

Is it any wonder why customers are ditching Orange in rapidly increasing numbers?
