Toyota Corolla AE 86 starting trouble

Right, I bought a coupe which hadn't been started for a year or so and surprise,surprise it wouldn't start when I put a battery in. I dropped the tank and tested the pump and it wasn't working. Got another same one out of a mark 2 celica, tested it and it works. Fitted it and it's now pumping fuel to the engine but won't start. It's gettin' a spark ok at the coil and all the plugs, the plugs and leads are ok, there's fuel in the fuel rail - but she refuses to start. It will try to fire up on all 4 when you spray easy-start into it but that's it ???
