BBs will always curve in that gun. The gun has rifling to spin stabalize a pellet, which the gun was primaraly designed for. BBs fit losely in the barrel and unless the barrel is smooth bore and precision sized for bbs, they will allways curve like a curveball thrown from a baseball pitcher. Pellets are so much better. They hit harder and are 100 times more accurate. I can hit the bottom of a soda can at 80 yards every time with mine with no wind. of course a 6-18x50 scope doesn't hurt either. Even that far they still go right through. Pass throughs on squirrels every time at 10 pumps. BBs will accually damage your barrel if you shoot them a lot. Pellets are made of soft lead and don't hurt the barrel where as bbs are made of steel and where out rifleing very quickly.

    Hi,
With that air rifle you can shoot more than 10000 bbs, until you need to buy a new one cause of the canion damage, with bbs you need to calculate 4 to 5cms up of the target that you are shooting, thats because of the parabellum effect of the bb, in other hand the pellet shoot straight and you dont need to calculate in order to take the target out, its an 80 dollars air rifle, dont spect a sharp shooting with this rifle, if you want more precision you need a professional air rifle.

If your BBs go on side buy another gun b/o sending it and fixing would cost more than new.
As I wrote in review Remington Airmaster 77 is more than toy but less than contemporary air rifles.
There is more pumping than shooting.
Its only good point is price. Most of the love toward it is just sentiment and history.
New modern rifles are several levels over our airmasters and it is imposible even to compere them to it.
.22 cal is the best for huinting if you read opinions of the professional shooters.
