I have a contract with Vodafone, through T-Mobile and I have never been one who can be bothered to keeping switching around for the best deal - takes me too much time.

But, my old Samsung clamshell is giving up on me, probably not helped by having put it through a full wash cycle and 2 hour tumble dry about 15 months ago. Front screen is cracked, battery cover held on by sellotape. I have no idea what model it is, but I have had it for 2, 3 or 4 years, I guess.

It is time to change my phone.

Can I use any phone on Vodafone, just by swapping the SIM card...is there anything I need to watch out for in terms of voicemail, text server (I have no need of emails on my phone and I don't have a need to surf the web - but if I did, would that be an issue?)

I am a bit of mobile virgin. Confused So any general help and advice would be very welcome. Smile
