LG Chocolate overheating when charging(2 Messages)

    Hi, has anybody else had a problem with a phone becoming red hot when charging, and do you know what could be the cause? It has only happened once.

    Carphone Warehouse say it is a faulty power amp and will have to go to LG for up to 28 days !!! I can't find any info on this on the net, does anyone know anything about it?

    I haven't heard of this, my suggestion is contact your company you bought the phone through and see what they have to say about it. Chances are if it is a common thing they'll have a replacement or they'll know how to remedy the situation. I've heard phones doing this when in use a lot but not recharging.
