Has anyone who visited Dickens World actually found the sounds/smells/animatronics working ?

    Working? They arn't even installed!

Excuses range from "supply difficulties" to "not enough staff", to (you'll like this) anamatronics don't work in the damp! So how Disney manage to make Pirates of the Carribean work I have no idea! Perhaps they are real people dressed up? Wink

Try to get a look inside the theatre - an empty store room with a large sound system playing "construction noises", banging, drilling etc.

It's a scheme to make as much money as possible until they decide to (or are forced) to close down.

I placed a review on this site in June.
Animatronics just 2 near the end of the boat ride just before you get off.
Some of the actors wernt too animated either.
The £62m must have gone somewhere, somebodys done a runner with it maybe ?

The theatre not anything on the day I went. However the theatre did do a comedy night 29 July Friday which I went too.

Comedy was good (run by joungleurs). There was table service on the drinks. The food was from the same bar/restaurant inside dickens world and was expensive. £10.50 , £12.50 for a platter of chicken and dips and bit and pieces for 2 to shareWe didnt have any.
