L6 GPRS Orange

Trying to connect to the internet using GPRS on Mac OS X with Motorola L6.

It works fine with my old T68i but the set up for the L6 uses the Motorola BitSURFER 56K Modem. However it immediately disconnects with the message that a modem error occurred. I have tried using all the available modem configurations but all return the same result.

Has anyone successfully connected?
