Mobile Phone Tracing

Hi,

I'm aware that there are several mobile phone tracking/tracing products available out there that require the 'tracee' to agree to their phone being tracked.

Does anyone know of a legal way for phones to be tracked without the phone owners' knowledge?

I think it's a good idea for my daughter however she won't agree to her phone being traced.
