Hi, After alot of consideration and time comparing it to the S & W 586 i have recently ordered a beretta 92FS! From what i have read it seem like an excellent pistol! Basically i have never owned a co2 pistol before and i was wondering how to maintain it; i have seen alot of gun oil products on the internet but i want to know if these are really needed or can normal WD40 be used??? I also want to keep the gun looking good so does that meen i to buy some anti-rust stuff specialy for pistols?

    Thanks Very Happy

Hey, first of all congratulations on choosing one the finest CO2 guns there is, (the Beretta was the first one i got.)
There's a lot of different opinions about maintenance but this what i do - after shooting it i give it a polish with a silicone cloth, this brings back the shine and protects the gun from corrosion. In the manual you will find a small section the tells you where to put a few drops of light oil every 250 - 500 shots, i use Bisley Silicone oil. I put a couple of drops of Crosmans PellgunOil on the main seal occasionally, that's the one where the CO2 capsule goes.
It is a good idea to carefully test the tightness of any visible screws every 1000 shots or so but NEVER attempt to dismantle the gun, no matter how tempting it is.

Hope this is useful to you. Cool
