crete agios gordios

i would really like some advice please! i have booked a holiday to agios gordios in corfu in irene apartments. we really want a quiet holiday but have recently found it is on the same beach as the pink palace hostel. are the two hotels close together? like on the same section of beach? if so, how close? and does irene apartments get loads of noise etc from the pink palace? im a bit worried now! thankyou, any info from anyone who has been there would be great!

From what I have heard the resort is quite quiet - apparently its not a place for a lad or ladettes holiday so I wouldn't have thought there would be too much noise.
