Private Villa or Hotel in Florida

Having been to Florida twice and both times staying in hotels I think the next time I go I will definitely book a private villa. Whilst both hotels were lovely, in the USA everything is huge, especially our hotel the 2nd time and it was full to capacity with a couple of major school trips.

The queues for the lifts were a bit of pain but taking the stairs to the 17th floor were not an option with a 5 year old in tow.

I think its the appeal of having my own private pool for days when visiting theme parks are not on the agenda.

Next time I will look to Rent Florida Villas.

I agree that everything in the US is huge. I have travelled there a several times now, and I am not a fan of big chain hotels! I find them too big and impersonal. I am planning a trip to florida with my family for later next year and I think we will rent out a house or villa. I have checked out the site you mentioned, but I have also found a bunch more when I researched this on the internet. We are looking for something with a pool. Any more suggestions of rental sites? I have come across these that look good:



I also liked this site because it lists apartments and other types of accommodation as well. I'm really liking the idea of a cottage as well:



And if we end up being quite a large group I found this site, their houses look massive! :



Has anyone used these sites before, or can suggest some other type of accommodation? Thanks
