Well, this year may be no different as the tradition of the host country never winning the Cup seems to hold true. The West Indies, as unpredictable as they are, entered the Super 8 with 2 points in hand, and are now licking their wounds after crushing defeats from Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. As a West Indian myself, I want to see the boys pull themselves out of this rut and give the region something to be proud of. I still have hope in my West Indies....who will win the tournament this year?....only time wil tell....

I want to root for Sri Lanka--the underdogs, especially considering the fact that a) I'm tired of seeing Australia win and b) West Indies is out of the tournament. I hope the final is a close one though, whichever team wins.

    More 20/20 coming up.

Does anyone else think the competition should be sponsored by the alchopop MD 20/20?
