How do we all think that the FA Cup is gonna pan out this year?

Personally I can't see passed a Chelsea V United final at the New Wembley. I wouldn't mind a Blackburn V United final though personally Smile

What do you Middlesbrough fans think of what happened in the Quarter final against United?

Would be interesting if there were any Chelsea fans on this forum also Wink where are you all?

Don't think it was a dive in the Boro game to be honest with you I just think his momentum carried him over, there didn't appear to be contact but it was a tough call for the ref to make and I wasn't suprised to get the penalty.

Well the United V Chelsea final wasn't quite the game everyone expected was it Smile Was an awful cup final, particularly in the first half! The second half was an improvement but it would of been impossible to be worse than the first half. Needless to say it's a game that we should of won, we played the best football on the night but that doesn't account for a lot when you fail to take your chances, and Drogba's finish was nice.

Speaking of the cup final you see the prices at the New Wembley? Shocking! New Wembley......New Fans!

    "How worried were you?"

To be honest I thought we had thrown it away Smile Was very suprised to see Chelsea slip up the next day! To be fair though I don't think anybody can dispute us winning the league, we have played the most attractive and consistent football by a country mile this year. Saying that though I have heard a couple of Chelsea fans blaming injuries, which is a bit strange as they only really had Cech and Terry out for a bit. Southerners for ya Razz

Your right it isn't good for the game that the top two are so dominant, I can't see us maintaining that though to be honest with you. I expect Liverpool and Arsenal to be a lot closer to us next year, and I also think our squad ain't gonna get better, what with the ageing senior players and Glazers 25m a year transfer kitty that so far has failed to spend a single penny. Means we should have well over 75m to spend on players this summer.......not holding my breath though!

"I don't see how a Man U fan could even get excited about going to see them play your Wigans, Watford, Fulham's etc, couple this with how much it costs to see Premiership football now and I can honestly see people finding something else to do with their Saturday, Sunday afternoons."

To be honest, I dont get excited at that prospect Smile You can thank the rubbish atmosphere at Old Trafford for the "little games" for that. With next year set to get a hell of a lot worse (it's gonna cost about a grand now for an OT season ticket). The working class just can't afford it any more. Double the amount of prawns required for next season.
