Yeah the Playstation 3 is going to include Blu Ray drives. One of the reasons why the console is so expensive.

    See article: http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=25901

I think the "which is better" argument depends on your gaming tastes. I think I am right in saying that the PS3 will have the greater spec. However spec is so good these days that you probably will not notice too much of a difference between the two.

The best bet in my opinion is check out which games are released for both consoles, and then whichever games you prefer buy the console that they are on. Personally I am a big fan of the Final Fantasy series which is released on the Playstation so I will be getting that. However the next installment of Final Fantasy (number 13) will not be released for a few years yet so I will probably pick up my Playstation 3 for 1/4 of the price that they are launching at Smile

Hope that helps you make your decision

Hi click click bang, to answer your first question, YES, the PS3 can read blu ray dvd / dvd / cd and it is even backwards compatible, which means that it can also play your old PS One and PS 2 games.

For your second question, XBox 360 trumps PS3 in its online games line, other than that, PS3 trumps just about any features that the XBox 360 has, be it processing speed, picture clarity, etc. etc.

    Hope this helps.
