What do you think about soft rock?

Two good selections there Helen, the type of songs you get on them driving cds that get released around fathers day. I must say i like the first song more, maybe because it is more well known, and i know the words.
This is one of my favorite soft rock / alternative rock songs. Its a sad song though, a firm favorite of them self-harmers, never mind i still like it!

There is nothing right about soft rock unless we're talking Midlake. But I'd call them more folk than rock.

As I am a person of all sorts of music, i really do enjoy soft rock, aswell as alternative, experimetal or slow rock, so in my opinion its a great music style. Pleasent and nothing to hard for a human ear. -

I'd agree that the first example is pop as pop can be and I don't care for it much. But real soft rock can be great.
