Yes. What bands are you thinking of as an example? Soft Rock could cover a lot of different stuff!

Ahh Lee! A Cliff fan if ever I saw one! But he's more pop than rock!

Try this, sing a long if you want!

    Foreigner

Even better by a long way is this:

    Metallica

My all time favourite 'Soft Rock' track.

That last link is playing up a little, if you can't get any success try this instead

Two good selections there Helen, the type of songs you get on them driving cds that get released around fathers day. I must say i like the first song more, maybe because it is more well known, and i know the words.

This is one of my favorite soft rock / alternative rock songs. Its a sad song though, a firm favorite of them self-harmers, never mind i still like it!

There is nothing right about soft rock unless we're talking Midlake. But I'd call them more folk than rock.

Ugh. MOR is going to be the death of me.

As I am a person of all sorts of music, i really do enjoy soft rock, aswell as alternative, experimetal or slow rock, so in my opinion its a great music style. Pleasent and nothing to hard for a human ear.

I'd agree that the first example is pop as pop can be and I don't care for it much. But real soft rock can be great.
