Ok guys and girls, i would very much like to have a game of desert island discs with you all. For those of who are unfamiliar with this, here is a run down of desert island discs. Desert Island Discs is one of Radio 4's most popular and enduring programmes. Created by Roy Plomley in 1942, the format is simple: each week a guest is invited by Kirsty Young to choose the eight records they would take with them to a desert island.

I would like to change the format a little by asking readers to choose only five songs they would take on a desert island with them. Im finding it hard myself to think of the five songs i would choose, as i like loads of different songs, and it also depends on what mood your in, but here is my selection anyway.

My first song would be; You can have it all by Eve Gallagher. My second song would be; Insomnia by Faithless. My third song would be; Imagine by John Lennon. My fourth song would be; Sun aint gonna shine anymore by The Walker brothers. My final song is; Never tear us apart by INXS.

Toto - Africa. Just missed the cut on my list.

Helen good idea, why not also choose five albums to take on the desert island. Although i did want to find out reviewers favorite five songs, I cant see any harm in smuggling 5 albums in your suitcase, or are we cheating? Here are my selections anyway.

    Stone Roses - Greatest Hits

Beautiful South - Carry on up the charts

Keane - Under the Iron Sea

Erasure - Pop 20 the Greatest hits

London Boys - 12 commandments of Dance.
