Orange picture message

Hi, can anyone please help? I am trying to send a picture message to my Mum's orange phone from my t-mobile phone but every time I do, she keeps getting the message that she has to retrieve pic online. Is it because she is on a different network form me that this is happening? All I want to do is send her a pic, is so frustrating! Is there a way that I can do this without her having to retrieve it online? Would really appreciate some help. Thanks

HER SIM CARD IS OLD AND DOESN'T HAVE THE ABILITY OF RECIEVING MMS YET, have your mum phone up orange and have them apply mms to the sim card then from that point all should be okay.
