Hi, I am thinking of buying a baumatic single electric oven. I don't like to buy anything without knowing a bit about it.

Does anyone out there have any experience of Baumatic ovens?

You shouldn't buy any appliance without a decent length of warranty. Most only come with 1yr but if you have the budget, its well worth paying more for a more substantial appliance that is accompanied with a large warranty - any company that offers a large warranty (5yrs) is generally sending out the message that they are happy with their own build quality and have faith in their products, employees and manufacturing techniques.

Anything with only a one year warranty tells its own story.

I can't seem to recommend anybody on this site as my posts then dont get approved but I wouldn't buy an appliance made by any company other than AEG, Electrolux, Zanussi or Neff - they have good aftersales service and their products (high range) are normally covered by long warranties.

    good luck!

    Jamie
