I have a Hoover Tumble Dryer HHD780X which keeps tripping out the electricity supply. In fact, this is the fourth machine since October 2006. Hoover engineer looked at the first machine and said have you tilted the machine and also my supply was faulty. On looking at the fault he said water was reaching the heating/sensor element and as it was under 28 days old, suggested I have it replaced, which I did. Second machine arrived ten days later and same thing happened as with first one. Same engineer arrived and once again suggested have it replaced. Another ten days later third machine arrived. I called GIAS for engineer but lady over the phone said have it replaced, engineer did not even make a visit. I had the third machine taken away and bought another identical machine from another supplier. I've had this one two weeks with the same problems as before. Only had about 4hrs use from it in two weeks, the engineer doe's not know how to solve the problem. He left my house saying he would consult his boss, I've not heard from him since. I've tried other appliances on my electricity supply, including my old tumble dryer.

I've had about 8hrs use from four tumble dryers since October 2006. I can't believe I'm the only person having this problem. And yes, all machines had different serial numbers. Evil or Very Mad
