    Pros. Smile
    1) The best in hair straightenering and hair styling.
    2) Can straighten, curl or flick the hair.
    3) Instant long-lasting straight hair.

    Cons. Sad
    1) I have a tendancy to leave mine on, although with the new MK4 they automatically turn off after 15 mins of inactivity - brilliant for people like me.
    2) More expensive than other brands.
    3) Can get hot - be careful.

Ghd have just introduced their mk4 hair straighteners with advanced technology. These salon style stylers straighten, curl and flick, the new ghd mk4 straightener features a unique built-in microprocessor which regulates heat and controls it more effectively. The result is Instant long-lasting heat for optimum styling control. Far infra-red heat actually protects your hair by sealing in its natural oils, moisture and hair colour guaranteeing you beautifully straight hair with an attractive healthy shine.

All ghd mk4 straighteners incorporates the same revolutionary ceramic technology and offers the same superb styling control. Ghd mini and Salon styler also offer great results, the ghd mini styler featuring a smaller, curved barrel that's ideal for short hair or for men. This versatile iron allows you to straighten hair beautifully but also provides the option of creating flicks or curls by wrapping hair around the barrel of the iron. The ghd salon styler is great for long , thick or very culy hair, fast sleek results are guaranteed.

The new ghd mk4 has many new features yet retains all the reasons that girl love ghd! Ghd mk4 straightener now has: *Rounder barrel – now it’s easier to create perfect curls, waves and flicks, as well as the perfect straight. *Take them anywhere – universal, round-the-globe voltage control – you can use your ghds wherever your travels take you.

*Temperature control – unique digital technology for improved heat control and styling success.
*No-fear styling with new sleep mode - automatic switch-off if left unattended for 30 minutes. you can use your ghds wherever your travels take you.
*Advanced ceramic heaters – as always, the ultimate surface for static-free sheen.

I got mine from http://www.salonlines.co.uk and would strongly recommend them. Very Happy

You Should definately go for the new GHD mk4 straighteners. They are he best on the market and are the only straighteners any respected hair salon would use. The new model features a 2 year warranty, more rounded barrell, world-wide voltage capabilities and better heat regulated tempreture technology. The added versatility of the GHD makes them a great tool for styling enabling you to not only straighten your hair with sleek styles but also add volume, curl and wave - depending on how you want your hair to look. All MK4 ghd straighteners also come with a DVD which demonstrates various latest syles using the GHD straighteners.

How long they last depends on how you look after them. We have had GHD in our salon which have lastes 3-4 years and we use them as you can imagine all day everyday. So they get a lot of use.

Check out Haircare Heaven - for GHD MK4 Straighteners they are the cheapest i have found - only £94.95 including free delivery. They are also available in the limited edition GHD Summer travel bag.
