Hi gurus!



Bought the JVC TH-P3 home theatre system a few months ago and its locked to region 2.

Anyone know the region code to unlock or switch between 1 and 2 ?

Try this SilentBob, I just bought one of these on the condition that it could be made multi-region. The seller supplied me with the following details BUT it didn't work for me and I'm mucho peeed off. Hope it works for you. Please post up here your findings >



Make sure there is no disc in the player

1 - Unplug DVD player

2 - Plug system back in while holding the Open/Close and the play buttons (ON THE PLAYER, NOT the remote)

The word Test should come up on the player Display

3 - Press 9 on the remote until the display on the player says 00A0 0000

4 - Press Standby/on (remote or player)

Wait 15 seconds

5 - Turn player back on

YOUR PLAYER IS NOW REGION FREE (mine wasn't, all that happened was the DVD tray opened!!!! )

Just tried it there but it didn't work. Maybe they got the wrong model ?

Can anyone else please help us, I've been unable to get the code/method from anywhere?

Hi, I have tha same problem with my XV-THP3. I have tried a lot of "solutions" for unlock the region. Unfortunly all of them fail.
Please if any one knows the way to change the region code, help us!
