    Hi All,

We're looking to get a couple of devices on a business tariff and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on who is the best business provider? A combination of Service/Cost.

    Massive thanks

    Jay

    From London,

    Hi there,

I'm doing the exact same thing although just for me... it's a real headache!

I'm in between Orange (great feedback) and Vodafone (seems most trusted)... I haven't made my mind up but I have to say that the staff at Orange (enquiry lines and branch level) are by far the most informed and professional of the two. It's not a coincidence having visited various branches... Vodafone staff don't live up to the branding.

Nevertheless we have to make a business decision on what's best value... there are compromises (Vodafone is cheaper to international numbers and you get more value if you take longer contract - 18mths 25% extra mins and 50% off mobile email)... it's difficult to get a straight answer or comprehensive package from Vodafone... just try asking them about Business email/enterprise solution...!!!

Orange tariffs are tough to personalise, understand and breakdown... it's just that there are no providers who are truly business oriented... they simply tell you what someone has taken etc...

I have found a chap working at Orange who has to be awarded the customer service crown, straight talking, genuinely concerned for your dilemma and very on the ball... he will literally find out anything you want to know. Can give you his number if you want to run the tariffs you are looking at by him... no hard sell, just tells you advantages of both.

He's told me that if international calls is a massive priority that Vodafone lead the race, however he makes a strong case for Orange and the tariffs on offer are hard to ignore... I'm just wondering whether I'm better off on a personal tariff... sod claiming the VAT back if I'm saving loads and get peace of mind... the investigation continues...

Let me know how you get on.

    Cheers

    George
