Holiday Swapping

Hi everyone,



I am new to this forum and I have just completed a holiday swap and I thought I would inform everyone. I joined a holiday swap site for free - www.holidayswopping.com and immediately wanted to go to South Africa - I have always wanted to go there but found it expensive. Even though I have never done a holiday swop before I decided to give it a go! WHAT A SUCCESS!! The flights cost me less than £800 return for 2 from Heathrow to Johannesburg and I had no accommodation costs at all. I asked the family we swapped with to leave some leaflets on the surrounding areas and "Things To do". A brilliant experience. The return couple stayed in my holiday home in Spain. I have to admit, the ease of the whole "transaction" was excellent.

Did one too, excellent way to holiday

Ye - its such a relief to actually use hard earned cash "on" the holiday rather than "for" the holiday. And the people who do holiday swaps are like minded people so they have more of a respect for personal belongings than the average Joe who rents out a holiday home/apt.



Its great to see the support this is getting!!
