    Since i a particularly interested

in semi-auto co2 pistols. I would like to find out which maker produce best co2 pistols. I simply just add all the figures of the reviews divided by the number of the products.Hence find out the average numbers for every of the brand. The results are Anics co2 pistols=7.0

    Baikal co2 pistols= 7.5

    Beinjamin co2 pistols=9.5

Umarex/walther(Germany made)=8.6(I did not count CP99 since lot of the cp99 made in USA)

    Crosman co2 pistols=7.3

    Daisy co2 pistols=9.3

conclusion according to review centre customers reviews the best brand for co2 pistols are Beinjamin, Daisy and Umarex(walther) I wish it could help you to buy co2 pistols thanks.

stick with walther. After a bad experience with crossman, who by the way claim it is perfectly normal for the barrel to wobble on the rat catcher, i would never buy an American made rifle or pistol again. Just think of crossmans as Fords and Walthers as Audi or BMW's!

I think you will find that (Colt, Beretta, Crosman, Smith & Wesson, and Walther) also possibly RWS C series Co2 Guns are made by Umarex.

Sorry guys, I've got a ratcatcher that I've had for maybe six or seven months and it's a nail driver, same for my rabbit stopper. They have their draw backs such as too much plastic, but in my experience "for the money" their fine guns. By the way i understand that they cost a fair bit more in the UK than here so that could make the difference. I paid less than $80 for each of them.

I noticed no entry for the Gamo Pistols in your inquiry, and I want to give you my scoop on them.

I used a bluing agent to make the hammer on the PT-80 black, and the gun is both beautiful and powerful. With dry Teflon lubricant you can also smooth out the trigger pull. Precocking the hammer makes precise shots a breeze.

I bought the PT-80 for it's cool looks. I receive compliments and it has become my favorite pistol to shoot.

So, one year after purchase the CO2 seal suddenly broke, I despised Gamo for that. Did they design it to die after a year, so that I'd have to buy a new one?

No, word would get out and they would lose sales. And Gamo's problem solving representatives were useless unless I wanted to pay to send them the item to have it refurbished, and returned to me for a price. I figured my PT-80 was destined for the trash heap, but I followed a last recommendation that I read in an article to use pellgunoil to seal the gas cylinder. It partially worked by slowing the leak, but it never really sealed. This gave me hope that something could still have a chance of truly repairing the seals, and let the pistol sit several months in a bottom drawer. Curiosity and intuition payed off, for through experimentation I discovered Crosman pure Silicone Chamber Oil marketed for spring piston rifles.. I do not exaggerate that this miracle elixir is the cure-all for gas pressure valves using silicone O-rings.

The majority of valve O-rings in gas valves are silicone rubber, Pure silicone oil of the correct viscosity (Crosman Silicone Chamber Oil, it so happens) heals and seals Silicone rubber O-rings.

My Gamo now performs better than it did new. The accuracy of my PT-80 is perfect for ten-foot shots and acceptable for 10 meters, but the power is actually clocking at 425 fps at 75 degrees Fahrenheit per 7.9 grain pellet.

It's dead-on at 10 feet with Crosman Copperhead pointed pellets. Of the four mice eating sofa upholstery in my garage, they are now in a better place. The clip holds eight pellets. I still have six pellets left im my magazine.

I found your post interesting for i have a PT-80 and it's probably the most inaccurate pistol I own. It won't lay the shots close enough together for any practical target shooting. Interestingly enough, my son bought one, ant it's fairly accurate. I must have gotten one with a barrel problem or something other difficulty.

How's anyone else experience with this pistol.

Right now my favorite CO2 pistol is the Daisy .22X, but it's out of production so I didn't mention it. They're hard to find.

    Dear friends

The main problem with Gamo Co2 pistols is the constant production quality. There are plently of Gamo co2 pistols were beeing produce and some of them good quality and some not. When it comes to Umarex the constantly making good guns. They have a very good montoring production system. Hence, when we going to buy Anics co2 pistols or Gamo co2 pistols are matter of lucky.

I bought a Gamo PX-107 which was a really great pistol, until something happened internally and the barrel came loose. It was only 1 month old & ~3000 shots, and has been sent back to Gamo rep for repair. My Walther PPK/S is 2 weeks old, and has done 1350 shots so far, and other than my worries about how long its magazine will last, I believe at this stage it to be the most fun to use, and most likely to last.

I agree, they do make the best quality CO2 pistols, and great replica. The blowback of the PPK/S is so much fun, just a shame the cheap poor quality/design mags let them down. Its costing me a small fortune to keep it running as pins in top of the mag keep falling out rendering them useless after a few weeks of getting them.
