I currently use an XDA Exec. Last night I accidentally damaged my phone. Today I called O2 who as usual were extremely helpful, they confimed that I was indeed insured for the damage and put me through to their insurance company Marsh. This is when it all went wrong. Marsh do not have XDA Exec's in stock and do not know when they will be arriving, they have offered me any other phone in the O2 range, but no loan phone, should I except one opf the other handsets this will them become my contracted handset. Apparently this is in the terms and conditions, it was pointed out to me that these are "..not fully read to the customer beacause they are to complicated..", however it is "..my responsibility to read and understand them.." before signing I have quoted David Salter, apparently a senior supervisor. I have to confess to being somewhat annoyed by David. At present I am without phone, waiting for Marsh to contact me to advise me of a delivery date. I asked if I was likely to recieve a handest before my contract renewal in 5 months time, his reply "..hopefully..". I think that it is extremely unlikely that I will be renewing my contract, sadly not due to O2's service, but, doue to their insurnace service provider. -

I have had the same poor service. My blackberry packed up and was sent to RIM for repair. First of all I had to contact them myself then put the unit in an envelope they provide then send it off. 10 days later I get the phone back. Switch it on and hey presto the same fault as before. Looked at the paperwork it appears that the phone is "beyond economic repair". Fortunately I have 02 insurance. I pass the grilling they give me and tell me I am covered for a replacement. But then there no stock for my model and would I like some other model? Well I have not taken there offer and am still awaiting my replacement (1 week now). The annoying thing is that I did all the reporting and talking to 02 insurance whilst I was stook in an 02 shop. The shop had my phone in stock but 02 insurance cant/wont allow them to issue it to me. No more 02 for me when the contract runs out and probably no more JunkBerry either.
