    Hello, first time poster here!

I've just turned 50 and want to look after myself even more so than usual!

Has anyone used collagen tablets and been satisfied with the results please? Or can anyone recommend a good collagen (or other) face cream that really works lol. My areas of concern are around the mouth and chin areas where I can see lines/wrinkles (groannnn!) and I want to try and improve/stop what damage has already been done! Many thanks for any feedback.

I am in similar age as you are and I use
Natural Collagen Q5-26 Platinum for my face
and it really works. After 3 months of use small
wrinkles disappeared and deep wrinkles smooth.

Our body is made up of 75% of collagen. This compound is mostly obtained from animals. If you are thinking of using collagen treatment then use that of fish. Collagen is basically used to delay the ageing process; it improves skin tightening, immunology, compactness, and pigmentation. According to me you need to do it.

I use Skinceuticals range from Salonlines and have fantastic skin. I would really recommend this.

It can be found at: http://www.salonlines.co.uk/skin-care/skinceuticals/

    What are Skinceuticals?
    ----------------------------------
SkinCeuticals' extraordinary Topical Vitamin-C products are specially formulated to benefit the skin with less discomfort. This unique stabilization process provides higher concentrations with minimized irritation.

SkinCeuticals Topical Vitamin-C products can be used in conjunction with any skin care regimen, this is what makes them so unique.

Given the precise formulation of SkinCeuticals Topical Vitamin-C products, it is important to apply them only onto clean, dry skin. Do not mix immediately with other products; simply wait a few minutes for the SkinCeuticals Topical Vitamin-C product to be absorbed, then proceed with the rest of your skin care regimen.

SkinCeuticals Topical Vitamin-C products will start to be absorbed by the skin almost immediately. Because these vitamin-C products were developed as a preventative treatment with the goal of protecting the skin from further environmental damage, the skin should benefit the moment the vitamin-C is applied.

These products are suitable for use on all skin types and colors.

Today, there is a network of thousands of dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and licensed estheticians that recommend SkinCeuticals Topical Vitamin-C to their patients daily. Many individuals now benefit from the stabilized L-ascorbic acid technology. SkinCeuticals Topical Vitamin-C products are physician recommended and patient preferred, with the number of satisfied users continuing to grow.

Everyday skin is exposed to environmental elements like sunlight, smoke and air pollution which cause oxy radicals to form in the skin. These oxy radicals attack the skin's collagen layer and break it down, causing lines and wrinkles to appear.

Science shows that topical vitamin-C (L-ascorbic acid) promotes the synthesis of collagen which is crucial to healthy, younger-looking skin.

I am not sure about collagen creams. Once an esthetician at a Beauty salon explained to me that collagen mollecule is too big to penetrate into the skin.... So I would try taking supplements that stimulate collagen production, use products that stimulate skin cells turn over. Oh and also consider some products with Vitamin C - it has proven to reverse sun damage! Some good advice on skin care I have found at Beauty Salon
