Please help I want to buy one tomorrow - Canon Powershot A700 vs Olympus SP350

I've just spent forever in a Jessops shop trying to decide on a digital camera. Anything is better the the 4 year old 2.0megapixels camera I have. But I'm finding it difficult to make up my mind. Both are on sale for £199.99 Sales end 29th August. Canon was £349.99 has 6megapix 6x optical zoom. Olympus was £299.99 has more 8megpix but 3x optical zoom. Olympus seems to have more picture features such as behind glass & cuisine. But, Canon takes SD card which I currently use in the old Panasonic. What should I do???
