Referring to the penalty decision?
Was a tricky one that. First time I saw it in real time I thought definite penalty no question. Then after when I saw the replay I thought hmmmm harsh!
The thing is with that one is that it didn't look like a dive. Normally when a player dives they go to ground funny and generally look stupid when it's replayed on TV. This wasn't the case though Ronaldo went down in stages as if he lost his footing. He is coming at pace and turns to avoid the keeper so losing his footing could quite easily of happened.
Tough one to call, either he genuinely lost his footing, or it was one of the best dives I've ever seen.
In any case it wasn't a penalty, but I lay no blame on the ref as in real time it looked stone wall.
A few thousand people at the Riverside saw him dive in "real" time matey, I think he's right up there at the minute, in the top 3 playing in Europe but he's No1 at drawing fouls and getting freekicks and stuff.
Were was a few dives from him in that match too, the worst one was the one that got Boateng booked, disgraceful.
I would not sing out a players name who cheated like he does, I would rather he just left the club I followed no matter how good a player he is. It would not be tolerated at the Riverside

Thing is though with that penalty it made no sense for him to go down as if he would of stayed on his feet he would of put the ball into an empty net. He didn't play the ball too far ahead of him for the defender to get back so diving would of been a bit daft in that situation.
Plenty of you 'Boro fans on here ain't there
